- For confirmed bookings, an advance payment is required at the time of booking. The advance amount is based on the estimated total cost of the tour package.
- The use of our payment gateway is solely for processing payments for local transportation, accommodation, and adventure activities included in the tour package.
3. Refund and Cancellation Policy
Our Refund and Cancellation Policy, available here, outlines the rules regarding cancellations and refunds:
- Cancellation Charges:
- 7 days before the trip date – 70% Cancellation Charge.
- 3-7 days before the trip date – 85% Cancellation Charge.
- Less than 3 days before departure – Forfeit the total price.
- Zero Refund Policy for last-minute cancellations and/or once you step on the boat.
- Refund Processing Time: Refunds will be processed within 5-7 days in the same mode of payment used during booking.
- No Refund Policy for Sea Activities: All bookings for sea activities are non-refundable.
- Weather Conditions: In case of bad weather, activities can be postponed, but the booking amount is non-refundable.
4. Fair Weather Conditions Clause
All water-based activities are subject to fair weather conditions and approvals from local authorities. Shivaay Travels reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any activity at short notice due to adverse weather conditions or warnings from higher authorities. In such cases, customers may reschedule their activity, but refunds will not be provided.
